Owura re-joined Colchester United in September 2023 on a deal that runs until2025.
Edwards first came to the U's on loan from the Bristol City on January 17th 2022, and marked his debut with a goal at Sutton United twenty four hours later.
Two further goals followed, but an injury at Britol Rovers meant a short lay off before he returned to play one more game towards the end of the 2021/22 season.
In total, he made thirteen appearances for the U's, before heading back to the West Country and his parent club Bristol City.
During the 2022-23 campaign, he made another loan move from Ashton Gate, this time to Ross County where he made thirty six appearances as County retained their Scottish Premiership status via the end of season Play-Offs.
