Kennedy has been with the club since he was ten years old, he made his EFL debut in on the 21st of August 2021 against Oldham when he came off the bench in our 2-1 win.
So far, he’s made seven appearances for the U’s, four of them being in the league.
Gene will continue his progression at Braintree Town on loan, hoping to return to gain more experience with the U's first team.
