Mandela Egbo signed for the U's in July 2023 on a two year deal.
The versatile full back joined the U's from Charlton Athletic, where he played under the U's current boss, Ben Garner.
Mandela has had an international club career, going from Borussia Monchengladbach to Darmstadt 98, and then across the Atlantic to the New York Red Bulls before returning to England and playinf for Swindon and Charlton.
In his carerr Mandela has made over 150 professional appearences, finding the net eight times.
